Hosah Park is part of the Zion Park District. It’s an ideal spot for viewing flora and fauna and for birdwatching. Take a stroll along the boardwalk or the paved walkway.

North Dunes Nature Preserve covers 816 acres in Zion and contains a variety of ecosystems including wetlands, prairies, and beaches.

A popular park for birdwatching, you can spot a variety of species like hawks, upland sandpipers, and American bitterns at North Dunes Nature Preserve. There are also numerous plant and animal species found here.

The 4,160-acre Illinois Beach State Park is a popular place for swimming, boating, hiking, fishing, biking, and picnicking. Camping is also available from April 1 through December 30. And you’ll find 6.5 miles of Michigan Lake shoreline here.
