When it comes to outdoor adventure in Cleveland, there are few places that offer up the same level of thrills as the Cleveland Metroparks. Of course, there’s also a zoo under their care, and it has a magnificent new attraction that locals love. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is always a great time. This 183-acre wildlife park features a number of unique international landscapes and it has a history that is intertwined with that of Cleveland. In fact, the first Cleveland zoo was located where the Museum of Art now stands, though it has been in its current location for more than 100 years.

Programs, events, and newly unveiled attractions keep the park feeling fresh. Events like wintertime lights and summertime lantern festivals ensure there is something to do all year round, but there is now one more attraction that belongs on your zoo to-do list.

The new Eagle Zip Adventure shows visitors what it is like to soar high above the ground. From loading to unloading, visitors are on the zipline for about five minutes per session, and it’s always invigorating.
