Prairie Woods Farm Vineyard is a beautiful vineyard in the southern Minnesota community of Lonsdale. It’s about 40 miles south of the Twin Cities, tucked in beautiful, rolling farm fields. The drive to get there alone is simply beautiful.

The vineyard itself is beautiful, too. It covers about two acres, growing grapes for local wineries. There are several in the area if you would like to check them out, as well as many craft breweries, nature areas, and more.

The vineyard also allows overnight guests. They have a lovely campsite that can accommodate up to four visitors. You’ll get to camp among the leaves as you enjoy your beautiful surroundings.

Visitors may wander the trails throughout the vineyard and the surrounding woods. It’s a lovely way to get a close look at this part of rural Minnesota.

When it comes time to relax, your campsite will be waiting for you. It comes with a picnic table and fire ring. Most guests bring a tent, camping chairs, and maybe a hammock or grill.

And what a view it is! After one night here, we are sure that it will become one of our favorite camping spots in Minnesota. There’s nothing like ending the day with an amazing sunset over the vineyard.
