Every August, Sturgis fills up with around 700,000 bikers for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. It’s a huge event that’s taken place for more than 80 years. There’s one biker bar here that claims to be the world’s largest biker bar in South Dakota, and we have to agree. This place is known as Full Throttle Saloon, and you can learn all about it below.
Welcome to South Dakota’s Full Throttle Saloon, the world’s largest biker bar! Owner Michael Ballard opened the original bar in Sturgis in 1999, and after a fire a few years ago, the new location is going strong.
