It all started in the 80s, when Jim Lueders started homebrewing while attending the University of Montana.

Mark Haskell / Google After working at Bayern Brewery in Missoula in 1987, Lueders knew he was meant to make beer. He went to Munich, Germany in 1990 to study brewing extensively.

After his time in Munich, Lueders went on a 12 country tour and explored over 100 breweries.

Wildwood brews have won numerous awards, including the inaugural Beer Army Beer Wars competition in 2017.
