If you spend time in South Jersey, you know what all Wawas are like. They’re cookie-cutter gas station convenience stores with fantastic food and some of the most reliably tasty coffee around. You can tell when a Wawa was built by the exterior, and lots of our favorite older Wawas are being shuttered as new Super Wawas move in. However, there’s one Wawa in the state that’s sure to catch you by surprise – and that’s the Retro Doo-Wop Wawa in Wildwood.
One of Wildwood’s coolest retro-inspired spots is the Wawa on W. Rio Grande Avenue.

The interior doesn’t fit the theme, and you’ll feel like you’ve walked into any other Wawa. The familiarity is a good thing!
