Here in Washington, wandering through fields of flowers is not limited to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April. All spring and summer long, dozens of our local farms are bursting with blooms—and at some spots, you can even pick them yourself.

Wilderbee Farm offers a little bit of everything, from raw honey and mead to fruit and fresh flowers. And if you visit in the summer, you can pick your own bouquet.

The farm store is open from April - October, and you’ll find all kinds of fresh goodies inside, as well as some beautiful crafts and gifts.

The lavender begins to bloom in late June, and by late July, it looks like this.

By mid-July, the fields here are blooming with gorgeous flowers ready to be picked.

Wilderbee Farm Bouquets cost $9 for all you can fit in an eight-inch twist tie (up to 25 stems). Your basket, snips, and twist ties will be provided. You can also make a day of it and enjoy a picnic on-site, as there are plenty of areas to relax. And if you’re planning a wedding, you can pick your own wedding bouquets here for a special rate.
