The adorable antics of these animals are worthy of a quick detour in your comings or goings across the southeast corner of the Treasure State.

Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park is located in Greycliff, right off of I-90. The park contains 98 acres and sits at an elevation of 3,600 feet.

Bring your camera and your binoculars to get the full effect of watching these ridiculously cute rodents doing their thing.

You will hear the prairie dogs sounding the alarm (chirping) to alert the others when visitors arrive.

The park is open all year for day use. From November 1 through April 1, cars are not permitted in the park, but visitors can walk in.
