Hosted by and benefiting the Union Township Volunteer Fire Department, the hot air balloon festival boasts more than 20 hot air balloons that will take flight in the early morning and early evening hours, typically between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and 7 p.m..

While the Union Township Volunteer Fire Department cannot legally sell hot air balloon rides at the festival, interested adventurers may approach the balloonists directly about taking flight in a hot air balloon.
