Weeki Wachee in FL is one of the smallest towns in the entire United States, but it certainly packs a big punch in terms of entertainment. Although it’s one of the smallest towns in the country, with a population of only 12 people, Weeki Wachee is a very special place.

It’s home to Weeki Wachee Springs (and the state park of the same name), and of course, it’s " The Only City of Live Mermaids," in Florida or anywhere else.

The water is so clear, boats seem to be floating on air, and you can see all of the wildlife that calls the springs home.

There’s a waterpark on-site, too, called Buccaneer Bay. Here, kids can swim and play in the beautiful springs and pretend they have their own fishtail.
