Located in a park with the same moniker, Long Slide Falls is rather easy to access. Another perk to the waterfall’s park locale is free, ample parking, so you won’t have to worry about where to leave your car as you head out on an adventure.

There are two options for hiking to Long Slide Falls. You can hike to an overlook above the falls or trek down a steep path to the base of the falls, which is about ¼-mile round trip.

Though a bit steep, many choose to hike to the base of the falls because it’s where the best vistas can be found. Don’t forget to snap a few photos as you explore the area.

The aforementioned vistas are plentiful, as you can climb on the rocks that surround the waterfall to get different views from an array of angles. Just remember to be especially careful when climbing on the rocks – they get slippery.

The photo-ops are just as plentiful and the memories you’ll make her are truly timeless.

If you don’t want your waterfall fun to end with Long Slide Falls, you’re in luck. There are several other waterfalls in the area, including Smalley’s Falls, Twelve Foot Falls, Eighteen Foot Falls, and Dave’s Falls.
