Waterfalls near me: Cascade Park. Most people have no idea just how many beautiful waterfalls are in Ohio. From little-known falls to popular state park falls, there’s likely a waterfall just minutes away from where you live.

One of our state’s most beautiful metro parks in northeast Ohio features a loop trail that takes you to not one, but two, incredible waterfalls. Within Cascade Park close to downtown Elyria, impressive waterfalls flow from both the East Branch and West Branch of the Black River. The trail connecting them makes for a picture perfect day hike.

Take a look:

The 1.2-mile loop trail is a must-do when you visit this gorgeous metro park. This is one of the best waterfall hikes in Ohio.
