Walker is a small town of around 1,000 people in Cass County, Minnesota. It’s about 190 miles north of the Twin Cities and 130 miles west of Duluth. The nearest larger towns are Brainerd 50 miles to the south and Grand Rapids 50 miles to the east.

Walker is nestled into the middle of northern Minnesota’s lakes country. In fact, it is right on the banks of popular Leech Lake. Many people come fishing here throughout the year, but warm weather is by far the most popular time to visit.
