Ugly’s Grill & Bar is located at Thunder Bay Marina on Grand Lake near Afton. They are only open Friday - Sunday during the summer so plan accordingly.

In 2015 Ugly’s got a whole new look and vibe. They are “the place” to be during lake season and one of the big draws here is the drinks.

They have a large menu of alcoholic drinks. One of my favorites is the adult cherry limeade made with vodka, Sprite, grenadine, and roses lime.

But it’s hard to beat all the slushy drinks they offer. If you love frozen drinks, be sure and try the frozen Pina Colada!

The food offering is what you would normally find in your typical bar and grill setting. The food is tasty and the service is consistent. They definitely have a laid-back vibe so don’t be in a rush…the service is on the slower side.

You’ll also find indoor seating and a 43-foot-long bar. They also have eight televisions so it’s a great place to watch sports too.
