An old-school favorite, the Neshoba County Fair has been helping people kick off summer since the 1800s! And though it’s stayed true to its roots, don’t assume it hasn’t evolved throughout the years. Now billed as “Mississippi’s Giant House Party,” it’s grown from a two-day meeting of local farmers to a week-long affair that attracts thousands. See for yourself why this gem is considered the best summer country fair in Mississippi.

The Neshoba County Fair, which takes place the last week of July, isn’t just one of the biggest events in Mississippi. It’s also the “largest campground fair” in the United States.
