The Washington Botanical Park in Illinois is smaller than some gardens around the state but no less beautiful. In fact, it’s quite a sight to behold.
As part of the Springfield Park District, Washington Park Botanical Garden is set on 20 acres and features 1,800 species of plants.

The Conservatory is a spectacular sight in and of itself. It has a dome that is 50 feet in diameter and houses approximately 150 species of mostly exotic plants.
