Leaving early in the morning for a day full of adventure, you can enjoy a little bit of everything that small town Sugar Hill has to offer. Sugar Hill is a small town with a population around 650, but you wouldn’t think so from all the friendly faces you’ll see out and about. For a day trip, this one’s full of delicious food and new adventures.

First, you’ll want to head over to Polly’s Pancake Bar, where breakfast and brunch (the most important meals of the day) are served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. to fuel yourself up. Good fuel keeps you going!

Next up on the to-do list is the Sugar Hill Historical Museum, open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, perfect timing to absorb some local history after you’re fed. Who doesn’t like cheese?

Of course, the area is also known for being beautiful in any season. The sugar maples that this town is named after are a big part of the colors you can see in the fall, but make syrup you’ll love to taste the sweetness in. If you have time for hiking trails while you visit, it’s well worth the extra legwork to explore the natural beauty here.
