Hot Springs in Colorado January 03, 2022 Tori Jane What are some of the best winter getaways in Colorado? Colorado is THE premier destination for all things winter if you ask us (and the rest of the world). It’s one of the most sought-after destinations for skiing, snowboarding, and all the other amazing things that make winter so magical. Naturally, it’s filled with amazing options for getaways, whether you’re traveling solo or planning a romantic escape with your special person. There are SO many options when it comes to planning that getaway that it’s impossible to list them all here, but we can try a shortlist! Some of the best destinations for winter getaways in Colorado are beautiful Summit County, where towns like Dillon and Breckenridge await with world-class ski resorts. The Front Range region is to die for, too, and has lots of treats (like hot springs!) for visitors. Of course, you could always create the perfect winter staycation in somewhere like Denver, too, with any number of adorable Airbnbs. Of course, you could do the same in Breck – we guess it depends on what you’re in the mood for. Are there many natural hot springs in Colorado? Oh, yes. There are TONS of them all over the state; Colorado is a delightful hotspot for those who love hot springs, as it’s home to more than 90 developed and undeveloped ones. You can’t go wrong with any of them; one of our favorites is the one we detailed above (Indian Hot Springs), but there are others in places like Ouray, Glenwood Springs, Pagosa Springs, Steamboat Springs – the list goes on. You can also find some in Salida and Nathrop, as well as Alamosa. There are so many possibilities that you’re sure to find something you fall in love with at some point. Experience the magic of Colorado!
