Founder Robert S. Vidler opened his business just as the Great Depression began. At the time, Vidler’s was only about 900 square feet in size and it only had two aisles.

Over the years, Vidler’s expanded into neighboring buildings. As Vidler’s success grew, so did the store. Today, it is almost 20,000 square feet in size.

Vidler’s has a little bit of everything! The aisles and items go on and on. The upper level is home to eight different departments: Candy, Retro & Collectible, Toys, School & Office Supplies, Seasonal, the “Take a Look Nook” which includes all sorts of interesting things, Bath & Body, and Gifts & Home Decor.
