This unique and delicious restaurant is located off-the-beaten-path, but believe us, after a bite of its world-famous chili or a juicy hamburger, you are going to be so grateful that you made the journey.
Tortilla Flat is a historic town that is tucked away in a small valley. At one time, this area was used by the Native Americans as they traveled to and from the central Arizona mountains and the Salt River Valley.
Tortilla Flat Saloon/Facebook Years later, this area became a popular place for military personnel, prospectors, ranchers, and others to camp at as they traveled along the Yavapai Trail. In fact, there wasn’t even a road into this area until 1904.
The Superstition Restaurant and Saloon is one of the few businesses in this tucked-away town. To reach this restaurant, you’ll have to drive down a long and windy road.
