Looking for a fun overnight adventure the whole family will love? Tiger Safari Zoological Park in Tuttle has the largest selection of exotic and domestic animals open to the public and it’s interactive so you can get up close and personal with many of the animals. But that’s not all they have at this park. They have an African village with modern treehouses, huts, yurts, and cabins for guests to rent overnight for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Tiger Safari Zoological Park is located in Tuttle, about 20 minutes southwest of Oklahoma City. They are currently operating with spring and summer hours so they are open Tuesday - Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. General admission is $15/per person and children under 2 years old are free.

The park is home to over 170 animals and is the only privately owned zoo in Oklahoma that has large carnivores. You’ll find everything from rare cats to small reptiles and everything in between.

One of the coolest things about this place is the option to extend your day trip and sty overnight in their African village. Guests can choose from a treehouse or a hut. The treehouses overlook the tigers, bears, and hyenas but don’t worry, they stand 50 feet back and 20 feet above so they are very safe.

The treehouses are a glamping experience with a queen-sized bed and other modern comforts except for a bathroom…you’ll have to walk across the parking lot for those.

But can you imagine staying overnight in this treehouse overlooking the animals? I mean, it’s hardly “roughing” it here. You can even hear the lions roaring back and forth at each other!

You have the option of paying extra for some fun experiences. They offer guided tours, VIP experiences, tiger feedings, and more.

Included in your price of admission are deer and monkey feeding but there are other animals where you can get up close and personal too. Gather the family and head to Tuttle to experience an animal encounter unlike any other in the state.
