This Small Town Bbq Restaurant In Georgia Is Worth The Drive

Some delicious restaurants look downright spectacular. You know the kind: elegant dining, upscale decor, a dress code to even walk in the door. There’s nothing wrong with that, but sometimes, you’re in the mood for something a little more low-key. Next time you’re looking for a casual small restaurant in Georgia to enjoy, you will not want to miss Blind Pig BBQ in Jackson. This place doesn’t look like much and is hiding along a back road in this small town, but it sure is incredible, and worth the drive from just about anywhere if you want some juicy BBQ!

Jackson is the county seat of Butts County, about 40 miles south of Atlanta. It’s fairly small, with a population of around 5,000, but you can find several tasty spots here.

One of our favorites is Blind Pig BBQ. It’s tucked away near the lake and serves up no-frills, down-home style southern BBQ.
