A paved, multi-use trail, it follows the course of a portion of the historic Yazoo Pass Waterway, which played a vital role in the Civil War.

Scenic sights line the entire 2.5-mile route (5 miles roundtrip), which features practically no elevation gain and is ADA-accessible.

The trail comes to an end at Moon Lake Landing in Dundee. An amazing gem on its own, Moon Lake is a 2,300-acre oxbow lake.

Hugh Jack Stubbs Recreational Trail is open year-round. However, it’s important to note that there isn’t much natural shade, so sunscreen is a must.
