While hiking trails are a wonderful way to get out of the city and into nature, there’s something special about paddling along in a canoe or kayak and seeing the trees go by as you take your time at your own pace. Nichol’s Landing Paddling Trail is the perfect place to go, and there are canoe and kayak rentals in the area.
You start at Old Spring Branch Road next to the Guadalupe River RV Park & Campgrounds and end up almost 10 miles downstream at Rust Falls.
