Located in Calhan (Ellicot), the Next Step Horse Rescue’s Fall Festival is one of the sanctuary’s annual fundraisers and features tons of wholesome (and, dare we say, adorable?) fun for the entire family.

Taking place Saturday, October 15th, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Fall Festival fun begins with some of your favorite fall-time activities, including a pumpkin patch, vendors, food, and a costume contest.

In addition to these more standard festival events, the Fall Festival also offers one-of-a-kind encounters with animals a la a petting zoo, pony rides, and an up-close look at some of the Rescue’s 4-legged residents.
