We have no shortage of haunted places in Georgia, and, in particular, the historic city of Savannah has quite a few locales where ghosts allegedly roam the halls. If you believe the legends, there are a number of haunted hotels in Savannah. One of the most famous of all is the stunning Kehoe House. This is an amazing building that manages to stand out even in a city full of architectural delights. It’s a magnificent place for both ghost hunters seeking out spirits and lovers of history looking to enjoy a beautiful hotel.
Irish immigrant William Kehoe came to America in 1842 at the tender age of 10. He worked in an iron foundry and was so successful that he ended up purchasing the foundry and even building a new one.

In 1892, Kehoe commissioned a new home in Savannah’s historic district for his growing family. The property was sold after his death and has been used for a number of different purposes.
