Next time you need an escape to a fairy tale trail in Connecticut, check out the Pine Knob Trail at Housatonic Meadows State Park. The trail is a 2.5-mile loop that is on the harder side of moderate. It’s got quite the array of terrains, from flat areas to rolling hills to steep peaks.
