This is a local, family-owned business that not only strives to serve delicious coffee, but every staff member works hard to make a difference in the lives of animals and animal owners.
Rafaela Onasses/Google In 2008, this small coffee shop opened and was simply serving coffee to the local neighborhood. However, in 2014, the business received new ownership and began to grow— substantially! In fact, there are now three locations in the Salt Lake Valley.
This business makes animals their number one priority, and they are passionate about helping animals in need. For every punch card that is redeemed, this coffee shop donates money to local animal shelters such as Best Friends, Nuzzles, and Salt Lake County Animal Services. In 2021 alone, Bjorn’s Brew donated more than $30,000 to local animal charities!

And when you visit this coffee shop, it is quite easy to find items on the menu that you’ll love. You’ll find many classic hot and iced drinks, as well as a few specialty drinks like a lavender breeze and Sunrise Tea, which features iced green tea with raspberry, strawberry, and peach.

And, if you love trying something new and unique, taste one of the monthly specials. Each month you’ll find up to three unique drinks on the menu and you’ll want to sip on each one. Don’t be surprised if you find your new favorite drink!

Food is served all day long at Bjorn’s Brew and you’ll find quite the selection of baked goods. Try a stuffed croissant if you are really hungry or one of the delicious cookies if you just want a sweet treat.

However, no matter what drink you order, you’ll still enjoy something sweet as every drink is served with a gingerbread bone-shaped cookie. While this cookie may look like it’s for your dog — it’s actually for you! Real dog bones are located inside when you bring your favorite animal with you.
