One of the grandest of all is Chris Mark Castle, a private residence in Woodstock that can be booked for events. This absolutely luxurious building is architecturally stunning and looks straight out of the pages of a fantasy novel. Check it out:
Chris Mark Castle sits atop an artificial island and certainly makes you look twice. At 22,377 square feet, it’s massive and certainly unlike any other home in the state.

Though styled after medieval buildings, construction on the castle was completed in 2010. The project was a labor of love for Chris Mark and his then-wife Mary Galt.
