The campground uses shuttle buses to take tubers up the river. The buses leave every half hour, but if you want to make sure you get your reserved time spot, it’s a good idea to try to arrive a little bit early.

The entire process of tubing the Iowa River takes about three to five hours, though of course, it’ll depend on how fast the river is flowing and how fast you want to go. The river flows at its fastest speed in June, and by August, you may have to walk over a few sand bars.
