Have you ever heard about a bottomless lake in Southern California? Check out Lost Lake and learn about a truly mystical one. Found in the San Bernardino National Forest, this lovely lake is considered “bottomless” because it was formed by the notorious San Andreas Fault, and is fed by the deep natural springs in the area. Mysterious stories have circulated about what “bottomless” really means, but rest assured that this body of water does not actually go to the center of the earth.
The lake is a beautiful sight, and you’ll definitely want to be there for as long as you can. The atmosphere in this pretty area is one of the most relaxed places in the region.
