The latter, the Columbia River Gorge, is a veritable treasure trove of waterfalls, with the Oregon side home to some 90 wondrous waterfalls! You could spent days and days tackling the waterfall trails here, in fact, which is a challenge we happily accept. Looking for a beautiful hike through Oregon’s old-growth forest? This trail is one of our favorites; it’s a bit off-the-beaten-path, but you’ll find the lush, verdant surroundings irresistible. Of course, you can’t go wrong with the Hobbit Trail, an easy, accessible hike that winds through fairy tale forests and ends at a beautiful secret beach! Speaking of beach hikes, the Oregon Coast is a wonderland of amazing trails and treks, and we share 10 of our absolute favorites in this article.
