Going to the zoo can be a fun adventure for the entire family. And while at the zoo, we sometimes want to play up close with some of the adorable animals. Of course, that is not always possible, but there are petting zoos that allow for a more interactive experience. Thankfully, Arkansas has one of the best petting zoos, and the animal interaction makes it an adorable fun adventure.
Located at 847 Whittington Avenue in Hot Springs, the Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo has been providing family-friendly entertainment since 1902.

The zoo is home to pygmy goats, turtles, raccoons, a mountain lion, emus, donkeys and so much more. But with over 100 gators on the premises, they provide the greatest entertainment at the zoo.
