It clocks in at a whopping 9%, almost double the national average. It’s one of the highest unemployment rates in the state, not to mention the 12th highest crime rate in Georgia.

Wikimedia While the unemployment rate in Bainbridge matches that of Swainsboro, the crime rate may actually be worse. Statiscally, 1 in 140 residents have a chance of being the victim of a violent crime.
