And Oahu is considered the “surfing capital of the world.” So it’s no surprise to see West Oahu’s Ewa Beach debuting a new surf park and the world’s largest standing wave pool. Now there’s going to be a new way to surf on Oahu’s West Side.

This wave technology is straight out of Germany and features a breaking wave, not a barrel.

The park will offer waves for all skill levels, from beginner to expert.

The surf park expects to also boast 200,000 square feet of retail space.

The water park will be a part of Hoakalei Resort.
