Lanesboro, Minnesota, is known for a few things. For one thing, it is the Bed and Breakfast Capital of Minnesota, with many beautiful – and historic – properties located within city limits. The town is also right on the Root River, with a gorgeous trail running alongside the river and through town. But one Lanesboro amenity that gets overlooked? Its delicious restaurant scene. One of the most charming restaurants in a town filled to the brim with charm is a little dining trolley restaurant that is perfect for an old-fashioned meal.

It’s nestled between two buildings, so you might have to keep your eyes peeled. But this restored 1926 diner is well worth the effort.
