However, despite how gorgeous the area is, there have been several deaths as well as many injuries due to its treacherous terrain.

During the rainy months, you’ll find that the unmanaged, bushwacking trail is muddy and there are sections that are extremely slippery.

Although the rainy months can be challenging while you traverse this trail, it’s the best time to see the many spectacular waterfalls along the way.

You’ll be awestruck by the immense beauty that surrounds you as you trek this dangerous trail. But for some daredevil hikers, the rewards certainly outweigh the risks.

They include slippery rocks and boulders, narrow ledges, and even a rope system used to climb up the side of a steep rockwall.

In this area, you can witness the gorgeous vistas of the park. But what some of you might not know is that many experienced hikers have fallen to their deaths attempting to see the infamous eye.

Once you make it to the eye and witness the waterfall flowing from between the jaw-dropping rock formation, you’ll understand why so many hikers have risked their lives for a glimpse of it.

One thing is for sure, this trail is certainly not for the faint of heart. And if you decide to hike this rugged trail, be very careful because even expert hikers have run into many obstacles as they trekked.
