Phelps Lake is a gorgeous alpine lake at the foot of Buck Mountain in Grand Teton National Park, and it is perhaps the best natural swimming hole in Wyoming.

If you don’t want to hike to a swimming hole in Wyoming, don’t worry! You don’t have to hike for long to get to the lake for a swim. But, if you do wish to hike, there is a gorgeous seven-mile loop trail nearby that’s worth hiking either before or after you cool off in the water.
