regmita tuladhar/Google Maps Honestly, Kent Falls State Park belongs on anyone’s road trip in Connecticut! This beautiful spot is one of the best places for hiking in the Nutmeg State. Waterfalls, trails, even a covered bridge: this stunning park has it all. Kent Falls State Park, 462 Kent Cornwall Rd, Kent, CT 06757, USA
- Hartford, CT
Harshil Shah/Flickr Connecticut’s capital gets a bad rap as a boring, business-centric place that doesn’t have much to offer tourists. In reality, it’s got many destinations worth a visit. The Elizabeth Park Conservancy is a stunning spot. Hartford is also home to the first food hall in Connecticut, making it a great option when you want to stop for lunch. Hartford, CT, USA
