If you love Harry Potter, then you probably spend at least some of your time thinking about what it would be like to live in the world created and described by J.K. Rowling in her books. One way you can do that is to visit places that look a bit like places in the book series. If you’re looking for a Harry Potter-like spot, then you’ll love this Oregon building that looks like Hogwarts. It’s the main building of Reed College in Portland. Read on to learn more about it.
Reed College in Portland was founded in 1908. It’s known for its rigorous academics, de-emphasis on grades, progressive politics, and universally required senior thesis. A very large portion of its graduates go on to earn doctorates and other post-graduate degrees.

Its campus is beautiful and spans 116 acres, but the student body is small. Just 1,500 students attend Reed College at any given time. With 164 faculty members, the teacher-student ratio is quite low.

Your imagination can take you anywhere you wish to go. If you go to Reed College, be sure to wear your robe and house colors. Ten points for Gryffindor!
