Located in Castle Rock, the aptly-named Scileppi’s is, indeed, located inside an old stone church that was built in 1888.

How did Scileppi’s come to inhabit this historical masterpiece? When St. Francis of Assisi parish - which built and used the church - moved to a more prominent location in 1966, the building sat abandoned before receiving a second chance as a restaurant in 1975.
