The Red Mill got its start producing wood, grist, and talc in the early 1800s - and due to the dangerous nature of the work, several workers perished in the building’s enclaves, machinery, and grounds.

Now, the Mill is quite haunted. Not only do the spirits of former workers haunt the site, causing unexplained sounds and sites, but there’s a frequent appearance of a man dressed in colonial garb - almost like a period actor, but not employed or welcomed by the museum itself.
