Pumpkin walks are a fun tradition shared by many communities across the country. This year, Pumpkin Shine on Line is back for its 30th year of family-friendly fun featuring the creative works of schools from all over northwestern Louisiana. Come out and celebrate the fall season at this classic fall festival! It’s a one-day event so be sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss it.

Pumpkin Shine on Line is a unique event where Southfield School teams up with the city to host a one-of-a-kind pumpkin walk where the kid’s creativity is the star of the show.

The event takes place at Betty Virginia Park on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Classes from neighboring schools all get in on the fun.

Each class works together to pick a theme and decorate their own pumpkins to display.

As you walk down the line, be sure to stop at the main stage and watch performances from school choirs, dance teams, and cheerleaders.

At the end of the night, prizes will be awarded.
