Crawfish season is by far the best season to look forward to, although king cake season and snoball season are tied for second. For a full weekend in May, Breaux Bridge throws the annual crawfish festival, one of the best festivals in Louisiana.

Breaux Bridge is known as the “Crawfish Capital of the World,” so of course, the Crawfish Festival would be held here.
