Turkey Run State Park is easily one of the most beautiful state parks in Indiana; it’s also one of the most popular with nature fanatics, considering it’s filled end to end with some of the most pristine natural beauty the Hoosier State has to offer. But all too many Hoosiers somehow don’t know that tucked above Turkey Run State Park in the northernmost bit of the park is a nature preserve that takes the outrageous beauty of Turkey Run and cranks it up to 11. It’s the Rocky Hollow – Falls Canyon Nature Preserve, and it’s easily one of the most majestic hidden gems in Indiana (hidden in plain sight).
The Rocky Hollow - Falls Canyon Nature Preserve is a 1,609-acre swath of land adjacent to Turkey Run State Park.
