The rules for river floating in Florida here are pretty simple—you can bring your own pool floats as long as they are less than five feet in length or width.

If you don’t have your own float, no worries, there are plenty of tube rentals available from the vendors outside of the park.

Lazy river in Florida August 02, 2022 Rachel Raimondi What’s the most beautiful hike in Florida? There are so many beautiful hiking trails in Florida that it’s hard to even choose just one. But we’ll try. Over in Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in Micanopy, you’ll find more than 30 miles of trails. This 21,000-acre roadless park is home to an interesting mix of wildlife, including bison, wild horses, and alligators. A favorite hike within the park is the 2.9-mile out-and-back La Chua Trail, which features a boardwalk for part of the way, wetlands, and a wildlife viewing platform. What are the best beaches in Florida? If you’re looking for beaches in Florida, it won’t take you very long as there are 360 miles of coastline and close to 200 beaches spread throughout. And many of them are considered to be some of the best in the US. Key West, the southernmost of the 800 Florida Keys, is perfect for swimming and relaxing. Choose from several different, but all very lovely, beaches, like Smathers or Higgs Beach. For some higher-end relaxing, fine dining, and some of the most natural and uninhabited beaches, there is no better place in Florida than Marco Island. You’ve got two choices here, Tigertail Beach Park and South Marco Beach. What are the best waterparks in Florida? If beaches aren’t for you, know that there are also quite a few waterparks in Florida. It’s probably no surprise at all that there is a waterpark (two actually!) at Walt Disney World. Blizzard Beach is a 66-acre ski-resort-themed park. Here, you’ll find Mount Gushmore (accessed by a ski lift), the 120-feet-tall Summit Plummit waterslide, and plenty of other attractions fit for the young and the young at heart. At SeaWorld’s Aquatica Orlando, you’ll find eight attractions, a beach, and a wave pool. An added bonus here is that you can also see aquatic animals, such as tropical fish and dolphins.
