Located on the outskirts of the town of Westerly, the Napatree Point Conservation Area is a quiet, secluded stretch of beach perfect for bird watching and seaside strolls. And if you’re up for a nice, easy trek, there happens to be a 3.2-mile loop trail that encompasses it all. Take in the scenic views and enjoy a little peace and quiet on this relaxing hike.

The 3.2-mile trail loops around the entire area, taking you right up to the beach.

The first mile is on dry or wet beach sand (depending on the weather), and then you’ll head through some marsh grass.
