Welcome to Frank’s, a down-to-earth family restaurant in Baton Rouge that’s been around for over half a century.
Frank’s Restaurant-Baton Rouge/Facebook Frank Dedman Sr. and his wife, Carolyn, opened the business in 1964, although it was originally known as the Blue Bird Drive-In. In 1972, they converted the drive-in to a country-style restaurant and renamed it Frank’s.
There are two locations.
Candan Ergun/Google The original is still in Baton Rouge, and the second location is not too far away in Prairieville. Today, the third generation of Dedman’s runs the family business, celebrating over 50 years in business.
