Love a good view? Maryland has quite a few overlooks that are worthy of a hike and today we’re featuring one that’s lesser known but pays off in a big, beautiful way. Read on to learn more about the trek to Weverton Cliffs. Once you see the sprawling sights at the top, you’ll want to partake in your own adventure here asap.
Weverton Cliffs is located along the Appalachian Trail in the Knoxville, Maryland area.

Once you park, the distance to the overlook is about 1.5 miles in length. Be aware that sections can be a bit rocky…
