Delcambre is a tiny town in both Iberia and Vermilion Parishes that’s home to less than 2,000 people, but it’s also home to one of the best festivals in Louisiana, the Delcambre Shrimp Festival. Delcambre is perfectly situated on Bayou Carlin (also known as the Delcambre canal) which gives boats access to the deeper fishing and shrimper waters found in Vermilion Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Delcambre has been a hub for the seafood industry in Louisiana for generations, so it’s only natural that this little fishing town holds the annual Delcambre Shrimp Festival to celebrate one of Louisiana’s most iconic foods.
